What is your pricing?
Our pricing is fully transparent and we pride ourselves on not making you jump through a bunch of hoops just to find out how much our services cost. Our full pricing page is available HERE.
How many images do we receive?
The number of images we deliver varies on the session type, although you can expect to receive between 25 to 60 fully edited images per hour of shooting. Check out our work page for additional images details.
How do you stay on schedule?
We build our schedules with buffer in mind so that our photography is always on point for you and keeps you on schedule for your event/day. Our schedule in most cases is flexible to ensure that we capture the best images for you.
Can we customize a package?
Absolutely. If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for on our work page, reach out and we’ll be happy to design a package that works perfectly for your needs and budget.
What is your style?
I love vibrant images that show life from all points of view.
How much in advance should we book you?
We typically book about one month in advance, but we do accept a wait list to be notified when we begin scheduling dates. We also understand life happens, so we will work with you to find the right date and time to make your session absolutely perfect.
How soon do we receive our images?
Editing is a meticulous process and we take pride in delivering polished, edited images. This is a time consuming process that we do not outsource. Your images are handled from start to finish by Josh Wise. As a result we typically ask for three weeks for delivery of a full gallery, but in most cases we enjoy surprising you early.
Do you send out previews before the full gallery is available?
While we would absolutely love to send out a preview of every session we shoot we can’t guarantee that a preview will be possible, especially during our busiest parts of the year. That said, we do our best to make sure that you get to see a few images before the full gallery!
Do you work off of a shot list? Can we give you a shot list?
While we do not work off of a specific shot list, you’re welcome to let us know if there are any specific shots you’d like for us to take during the session! We also recommend that you put together a list of images that you would like us to photograph.
Do you deliver in Black and White or Color?
We primarily deliver in color, but deliver images in black in white if that aesthetic suits the image best. You can however request black and white photos if you would like at no additional charge.
What gear do you use?
We use top of the line Canon cameras.
Do you do wedding photography?
I have done wedding photography, but it is not my focus. We love capturing engagement, bridal portraits or rehearsal dinners, however at this time we do not accept bookings for wedding ceremonies.
What is your payment structure?
We only require a 50% retainer for first time clients to reserve your date, with the balance due the day of the shoot. For events requiring travel outside of our normal territory, we require travel fees paid within 10 days of the reservation confirmation.
How many other events will you do on the day of my shoot? That weekend?
We schedule sessions based on travel time, event surroundings, etc. There is no typical number of events in a day or weekend. We will always allow plenty of time to complete your session and ensure your satisfaction.
How much editing/retouching do you do?
We edit every single image that we deliver for contract, exposure, saturation, white balance etc. While we are happy to remove a pesky zit on your face if one pops up on your session day, it’s not possible for us to offer intensive beauty retouching on every image. Session prices are based on limited editing/retouching. Additional charges may apply for large scale editing.
What happens if we need you for longer than the session time?
Despite everyone’s best intentions photo days usually run a little behind schedule. Don’t stress as we are flexible! However, sessions running more than 30 minutes longer will be billed at $50 per hour.
What do you wear?
We dress to the occasion, but in most cases when working outside we are going to get dirty so we dress casual comfortable. We believe in taking a lot of different angles and letting light guide our work. That often times means we are laying on the ground, standing in a chair or constantly moving to get the best shot.
Do you have more work to show us?
Absolutely! If you’ve already gone through our portfolio and you would like to see additional work please let us know.
Are there any additional fees after the shoot?
Absolutely not. All of our sessions/packages come with high quality digital images in a private password protected gallery. If you are looking for prints, canvas' or additional high quality print items, they can be purchased at an additional fee.
Can you recommend any other vendors?
Absolutely, we have some great connections with some really amazing people and we’d be happy to give you recommendations! Wedding planning, DJ, wedding photography, graphic design, etc.
